Events are coming in delayed using Proofpoint ObserveIT API Connector (IBM QRadar)

The connector was set up and configured to use the Universal Cloud Rest Api. We get events coming but there is some much volume of Alerts and Interface Activity that the log source time is days before and not up to date and time.
The workflow parameter was changed to allow for 5000 events per poll
The workflow has this entry which we think says to look at the last 7 days?
Initialize path="/risingValue_${/report_type}" value="${time() - 604800000}

We sometimes don't see any events or polling for close to 20 mins even though our log source is configured to 3M interval for the workflow
