Description and goal

i18next-xhr-backend is not maintained. We're using it to dynamically fetch translations.
We should at the very least migrate to i18next-http-backend

Acceptance criteria

  • src/i18n.js uses i18next-http-backend
  • the dependency on i18next-xhr-backend was dropped
