What's missing from the TRIP Guides

It is imperative to have a guide outlining the rating system on the network. Rating systems are crucial part of the network in order to remove bad actors.

Ratings should be displayed in a section in both rider and driver guides.

I have seen two different types of rating systems.

  • The average is taken from a set number of ratings collected.
  • Ratings are continuously collected and when you earn a certain amount of 5 star ratings they will erase your lowest rating.

Recommendation: If a driver/rider had a previous ride where one of the actors was rated negatively (3 stars or less) do not match them again on future rides.

Ryan, thank you for this contribution 👍

When we launch in the Genesis City there won't initially be driver or rider ratings. We will add this in time. Given this, let's hold off on moving forward with this guide for now. We can revisit this when ratings are present.

@abhilash710 if I'm off base with ratings not being in the app at launch, let us know.
