If you select multiple alerts to do something on bulk (e.g. markAsRead) and at the same time new alerts are incoming all selected alerts get unselected.
Especially if you have a lot of alerts incoming this is very uncomfortable.
Possible Solutions
I see the following possibilities:
-Have a special auto-update yes/no button
-Just add the new coming alerts and preserve the selection.
If an alert that already was imported into a case is selected for import I think it should be ignored. Reason: Some other user could have importet it meanwhile.

If we also consider the pagination, then this situation is harder to handle. Imagine you select all the alerts of the page, and then a refresh happens, making some of you selection move to another page, not loaded at all...
I think we need to keep this simple, I know it's frustrating when you have your selection reset by a refresh :)
@nadouani I understand your point, but I think this is a bigger issue if you use Alerts on a little stronger level.
If an script is going to create let's they 15 alerts, that means you can't do anything in alert management until the script is finished with creating alerts.
any alert selection is getting removed... That happens even if it is just going to ADD alerts that are newer and you sort older first, so newer will appear on a different page.
Please rethink, if there is any way to make that more usable,
I really think this is a major problem if you are dealing with more than 5-10 alerts a day...
