How do you go about doing local development with code that implements this?

Apologies for abusing an issue as support request but my google fu is failing and this code shows you have a good grasp of the basics :P

We've got ALB setup using Cognito and now want to verify claims so this library seems exactly right for us, but how do we do local development with that? We can write code that should work when deployed up into AWS but we won't know until it is.

I have been unable to find any instances of local or mocked ALB services (though localstack does support Cognito)
