indent a new line character

Currently, when I try to indent a new line character, it does not indent. It would be nice if I could indent the new line character.

Since the name of the operation is 'Indent Selection,' I think the behavior is correct because there are no non-whitespace characters to be indented on that line.

As far as I know, the arrow operator is designed to ignore whitespace characters. The same thing happens when using these operators in Vim/Neovim.
