First two options are exclusive.

My suggestion is:

Email subscription control (membership to maillist):
[x] allow subscription,
[x] allow unsubscription,
[x] subscription confirm

• closedlist is same as Disable subscription and unsubscription.
• closedlistsub is same as Disable subscription but allow unsubscription.
