A tool to convert Langgraph Python code to Langgraph JavaScript code

If there is a tool to convert Langgraph Python code to Langgraph JavaScript code, the Langgraph Javascript ecosystem will be much more attractive, which it deserves.

Maybe the tool can be developed by Langgraph JavaScript so that the tool can be deployed as an online service.

There are much more Python based examples of Langgraph than Javascript based ones for Langgraph.

For example, there is no corresponding Javascript version of https://github.com/langchain-ai/langgraph-swarm-py, which was recently published.

If support both Python and Javascript versions are annoyed, why do not provide a tool to do that? It is AI times. It is Langchain-ai, one of the most popular AI frameworks.

We do make use of AI tooling during our development workflows, but I haven't personally seen anything yet that can do this sort of A-to-B translation well enough to rely on it end-to-end. It might be possible to create an agent that does a direct port of python to JS, but that's only part of the work that needs to be done. The other, arguably harder part, is in ensuring that the resulting code feels "predictable" and/or "idiomatic" to those who would consume it.

To use a metaphor, one could translate Chinese idioms to English, but the translated words wouldn't carry the same meaning. They wouldn't work as a tool for expressing some complex idea in very few words. The same happens in code. Python and JS are very similar in a lot of ways, but there are key features in both languages that are missing in the other that force us to produce language-specific designs for things (examples: type introspection in Python, and complex compile-time type inference in TypeScript). We could just avoid those features in both projects, but then neither project would feel very nice to use.

In the meantime - if you feel that there are any other things missing from the JS project that are currently in the Python project, please don't be shy - especially if they're things that are preventing you from doing what you need to do.

By the way I'm not saying that we'll never use an AI agent to port code for us. I'm just saying that right now it's not quite something we can do as a fully automated process.

Got it.
Without knowledge of Langgraph, translation Langgraph Python code to Javascript is meaningless.
I believe this will be a good application/example of Langgraph.
