Describe the bug

logs.zip

OS: Windows 11
Latest version as of this writing

ISSUE:
When using the AI Assistant feature, there's an issue with the code modification workflow. When the assistant generates code changes and displays them in the interface, I have three options, Refine, Edit, Apply. When i click apply, the interface simply returns to the command prompt without actually creating or modifying the target.

ACTION:

Ask the AI Assistant to create or modify a file
When the assistant presents the code changes, Click the Apply button

RESULT:

Notice that it returns to the command prompt, but the file remains unchanged or not written at all.

CAUSE:

Unknown

RESOLUTION:

Report to Developers with logs

To reproduce

  1. Ask the AI Assistant to create or modify a file
  2. When the assistant presents the code changes, Click the Apply button

Expected behavior

Clicking Apply writes the changes so the workflow continues

@supere989 Hey sorry for the experience here. Does this consistently repro for any edit Agent Mode makes? If so, could you grab warp's log (https://docs.warp.dev/help/sending-us-feedback#gathering-warp-logs) right after you hit "apply" and share it with me? Thank you!
